Our mission is to foster genuine connections with small business owners in Edmonton and beyond through kindness, inclusivity and open communication to collaboratively build digital nests, support long-term goals, and build happier communities.
Inclusivity
Inclusivity is personal to us. It means intentional diversity, showing up for marginalized communities, and making sure the spaces we create are genuinely accessible and welcoming for everyone. We don't partner with businesses that don't share those values. Not because it's a policy, but because it's who we are.
Collaboration
To us, collaboration means getting to know someone on more than a surface level. Understanding what they put into their work, following along on their journey, and having each other's backs through genuine support and recommendations. That goes for clients, creative partners, and everyone in between.
Community
Community isn't something that just happens. It takes effort, intention, and people willing to show up and do the work. We believe in contributing meaningfully, whether that's volunteering locally, uplifting small business owners, or creating digital spaces that make a real difference. A better community starts with the people in it.

Hiya! I'm Kelly, the founder and designer behind Night Owl Notions. I've been doing graphic design for over 20 years, mostly self-taught and fuelled by a lot of late nights. I hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Leadership and Psychology, which is a fancy way of saying I love people as much as I love design.
Asheville, NC will always have a piece of my heart, and Edmonton, AB is where Night Owl Notions found its wings. Both places have shaped who I am and how I show up for the people I work with.
When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me gaming, crafting, hanging out with our furbabies, or planning... well, pretty much everything. I'm definitely a night owl, so if you're up late dreaming about your next big idea, you're in very good company.

Hi, I'm Tom, co-founder, Director, and CIO of Night Owl Notions. Raised in Edmonton, I bring a diverse background with degrees in Network Administration, Education, and Music. When I'm not tackling technical challenges or crunching numbers (because let's be honest, Kelly hates math!), you'll find me gaming online, cheering on the Oilers, or telling cheesy dad jokes and singing parody songs.
