Meet
Hiya! I'm Kelly, founder, CEO, and lead designer at Night Owl Notions. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, I now call Edmonton home. With a business degree and a passion for leadership, mental health, and goal setting, I've spent over 20 years honing my self-taught graphic design skills. My interests span from online gaming to planning, reflecting my well-rounded approach to life and work.
Tom
Meet
Hi, I'm Tom, co-founder, Director, and CIO of Night Owl Notions. Raised in Edmonton, I bring a diverse background with degrees in Network Administration, Education, and Music. When I'm not tackling technical challenges or crunching numbers (because let's be honest, Kelly hates math!), you'll find me gaming online, cheering on the Oilers, or telling cheesy dad jokes and singing parody songs.
Our
Our journey began in the late 2000s when we met online gaming. What started as a strong friendship quickly blossomed into something more, and we fell in love. For over a decade, we navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship, becoming experts in communication and understanding.
After getting engaged in 2019, our wedding plans were derailed multiple times due to the pandemic. Finally, in 2022, Kelly, her younger daughter Miranda, and our cat Nimbus made the move to Edmonton, and we officially became a family. Rory, our spoiled puppy and energetic work-from-home companion, brings endless joy and laughter to our lives, reminding us to take breaks and enjoy the simple pleasures.

Finally united in Edmonton in 2022, we saw an opportunity for a fresh start and the chance to pursue a long-held dream. We wanted to create a company that could truly support entrepreneurs and small business owners, not just through our services, but by fostering a sense of community and connection.
The vision for Night Owl Notions was born – a hub where we could leverage our combined expertise in design, technology, and business to help others shine, while simultaneously building a network of like-minded individuals who could learn, grow, and thrive together.
We recognized that running a small business can often feel isolating and overwhelming, which is why we aimed to create a supportive environment where entrepreneurs could not only access top-notch services but also find a sense of belonging.
